73% of Haitian students in Dominican universities
According to a report by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, the university student population totaled 8.859 foreign students, 73% are Haitian, distributed in 24 different universities. 47.1% of foreign scholars studying medicine, a decrease compared to 2009 when the figure was 55.5%.

Hope of compensation among ex-employees of PEVEP
Fritz Gérald Charles, one of responsible of movement of dismissed employees of the public administration (PEVEP) which require their compensation announced a truce, following a meeting this week with the Primature which would have made the commitment to engage in discussions with the Ministry of Finance, in order to satisfy their claims. Employees of this movement granted until the end of the year to the Government, to regularize their situation, threatening to harden their movement if they do not get satisfaction.

INITE fears that the Government established a totalitarian regime
The Platform INITE, in its review of Government Martelly-Lamothe estimates that the promises made by the Head of State during his campaign, are misleading and that the situation of poverty in which lies the population does not reflect the change advocated by the President Martelly. Moreover, INITE evokes its fears of the establishment of a totalitarian regime in the country by the President Martelly and calls the people to be vigilant.
