Laurent Lamothe congratulates Obama
The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, on behalf of the Government presented its warmest congratulations to President Barack Obama at the occasion of his swearing, this Sunday, January 20, 2013. The Head of Government firmly believes that the inauguration of U.S. President, will allow to strengthen ties of cooperation between Haiti and the United States.

Floating hotel for two Carnivals
The cruise ship "Adriana Tropicana" will drop anchor in Haitian waters during the period of Carnival of Jacmel and the National Carnival. This floating hotel, with its 129 cabins, will ensure the participation of cruise passengers to both events. The "Adriana Tropicana" will docks in the bay of Cap-Haitien the Saturday before the fat days, to leave on Ash Wednesday.

The Minister of Agriculture in Gros Morne and Marchand-Dessalines
This weekend in Gros Morne, Thomas Jacques, Minister of Agriculture, met with producers of mangoes, sugar cane and coffee from different organizations in order to work on the various opportunities offered by these different sectors. Moreover, the same weekend the Minister has made a courtesy visit to the planters of the 3rd, 4th and 5th section of Dessalines, to better understand their situation, collect their grievances and address the problems they are facing.
