Luis Almagro, Uruguayan Minister of Foreign Affairs, said Wednesday that the withdrawal of Uruguayan troops would not happen without consultations with member countries of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), including Brazil.

The Presidency understands the concerns of the IC

Friday, following the call for dialogue of the International Community https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9829-haiti-politicdiplomatic-appeal-for-dialogue-to-break-the-deadlock.html , Lucien Jura, the spokesman of the government, reiterated his call for dialogue to overcome the political crisis and declared that "If the dialogue depended on the Government of the Executive], the solutions to the problems of the country would already be found," adding that the Presidency quite understand the concerns of the IC.

End of the expedition "Anba Macaya"

After one month of exploration, cavers of the expedition "Anba Macaya," left Haiti and the Massif de Macaya. The team explored 92 caves, followed 3 underground rivers and discovered a "majestic canyon" in the ravine Casse-Cou and unknown resurgence... The inventory of underground heritage of National Park is not yet finished and the team hopes to organize another expedition in 2014.

Creation of an Academic Centre of Cosmetology...

Following the speech of President Martelly during his visit to Orlando, the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) received a delegation from the group "Dream Academy Leadership Center" of Orlando, specializing in cosmetology, in order to register their organization in Haiti and create a non-profit academic center.
