President Martelly will speak at the Howard University

Wednesday, February 5, the eve of his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama, President Michel Martelly, will speak at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the "School of Business Auditorium" of the "Howard University" where he talk about the importance of education. Opening of the exhibition "Paroles de Fierté"

MAST meeting at the U.S. Embassy

Last Thursday, an important working meeting was held between Charles Jean Jacques, Minister of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST) accompanied by Marie France Mondésir, Director of Ministry and John Peter Higgens, Head of Economic and Commercial Section and Andrea Arcila, Economic Attaché, both representatives of the American Embassy. These senior representatives of the Embassy wanted to obtain information about the status of the recommendations of the High Council for Wages (CSS). Yanick Lahens, winner of the 2014 ADELF

Haitian novelist Yanick Lahens received the 25th award of the Association of Caribbean writers of French language (ADELF) for his novel "Guillaume et Nathalie" published in 2013 published by "Sabine Wespeiser Éditeur".
