Anti-government mobilization of MOPOD
Tuesday, those responsible of the Patriotic Movement of Democratic Opposition (MOPOD) announced the resumption of the mobilization against the Government Martelly-Lamothe Friday, March 14, 2014. Me André Michel, one of the members of the Opposition, meanwhile, called for a general mobilization of all sectors of the country to arrive at the departure of President Martelly.

The IFORHT consolidates its partnership with CHTAEF-Haiti Fund
Wednesday in order to strengthen the partnership between the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Education (IFORHT) and "Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation" CHTAEF-Haiti Fund. Karine Condé, South Departmental Director of Tourism, met Mrs. Louise John, specialist and trainer in Tourism and Hospitality of CHTAEF-Haiti Fund. The opportunity for Mrs. John, to share some knowledge with students of FORHT. A guided tour of the Institute was also performed on this occasion.

Presentation workshop of PISUD program
Wednesday, in the presence of Vice-Delegate of the arrondissement of Coteaux and of Deputy Delegate Joseph Darelus (Port-Salut), a second workshop was held at Hotel Rayon vert of Port-Salut, with the management staff of five communes : Port-Salut, Saint Jean du Sud, Coteaux, Roche à Bateau and Port-à-Piment. This working session aimed to present to mayors, the broad guidelines of the Intervention Program South (PISUD), as well as to validate the terms of reference for key positions, by the latter.
