Arrival of Venezuelan aid

Monday ship T-62 of the Venezuelan navy, left on April 3 of the Naval Base Agustín Armario (Puerto Cabello) toHaiti, with a load of tractors, milking machines, tillers and various agricultural equipment for small works of family farming, arrived around 11:00 am. Road Infrastructure advance in Lafiteau

The Office of Communication of the Ministry of Planning informed that Carrefour Lafiteau (9 Kilometers north of the capital), in the town of Cabaret, benefiting from the construction of a 7 km road infrastructure, whose progress is estimated to date to more than 58%. This stretch of road connecting the National Road #1 and Lafiteau is already compacted and covered with asphalt, will largely solve the transportation problem faced by the local population.

Easter closing in consulates

Consulates of the Republic of Haiti to Orlando and Miami, inform members of their jurisdiction, that on the occasion of the feast of Easter, the Consulate will be closed Thursday, April 17th from noon on Friday 18 and Saturday, April 19th all day.
