Visit of a delegation of students in MHAVE
As part of course "Public authority", taught in the Department of Political Science, a group of ten students from the Higher Institute of Studies and Research in Social Sciences, recently visited the Ministry of Haitians Living abroad (MHAVE). The students wanted to inquire abou the standards and operation of public administration in general to enable them to better understand their studies.
7th Development Briefing on Haiti
Thursday, July 31, as part of the celebration of the Year of Small Island Developing States, the 7th Development Briefing in Haiti will be held under the theme "The island economies, from vulnerabilities to opportunities, the case of Haiti." Organized with the support of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA), in collaboration with the European Commission, the ACP Secretariat and Concord, this 7th breifing will be composed of experts from national institutions, of private sector and the Haitian State, university, development partners and research, who will discuss vulnerabilities and challenges faced by island economies considering the case of Haiti and explore opportunities in the agricultural sector.
