Abinader emphasized that the use of drones by Haitian gangs is a real concern for Dominican authorities and that preventive measures are being taken in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. "We are strengthening our response capacity for drone management at the border. I can't go into all the details for security reasons, but we are ready." The Head of State also reiterated that the Government is maintaining benefits and incentives for military, police, and customs officers assigned to the border area, as part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at consolidating the State's presence and preventing the infiltration of illegal immigrants.
