New appointment to the Primature

The Office of Communication of the Prime Minister informs that the economist Isnel Pierreval, was appointed Coordinator of the Coordination Unit of Public Policies to the Primature. Previously, Mr. Pierreval served as Economic Adviser in charge of monitoring government action and as Coordinator of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Prime Minister in Cap Haitien

On Monday, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe at the head of a large government delegation will conduct an inspection tour of projects underway in Cap Haitien. During this day the Head of Government will participate in a working lunch with local authorities, the executing firms and ministries concerned.

Football : New decline for Haiti in the FIFA rankings

In the latest ranking of the FIFA, Haiti again decreased by 4 places(117th position with 262 points) and 8 of the Confederation of North American, Central American and Caribbean Nations Football (CONCACAF). Recall that Haiti had already declined by 40 places last July.
