SMCRS delegation to Montreal

The Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, Justin Viard, accompanied a delegation of the Metropolitan Solid Waste Collection Service (SMCRS) led by the Director General, Donald Parison, visiting Montreal in order to benefit from the expertise of some institutions of the city, in the field of waste treatment and make Haiti a country clean according the directives of the Haitian Government.

Social assistance to widows of police

On Thursday, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and a team from the National Social Assistance Programme "Ede Pèp" carried out a distribution of food kits to 171 widows of police officers who died in the exercise of their functions. Furthermore, the Government Martelly-Lamothe took the opportunity to give the latter a recurring social assistance.

2015: International Boxing Championship in Haiti...

Haiti will receive the international boxing championship in 2015 Stéphanie Villedrouin Blamir Tourism Minister and Former Colonel Himler Rébu, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, piloting a Organizing Committee for the realization of this great sporting event in Haiti. Tourism development in Côtes-de-fer

Thursday at the Karibe Hotel, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) met some landowners in Côtes-de-Fer, for follow ups on the tourism development project in the area. The meeting was also attended by some officials of Punta Cana, a major tourist destination in the Dominican Republic as Côtes-de-fer will be developed roughly according to the model of Punta Cana...

Identification Campaign for 156.814 cows and oxen

After having reorganized the Committees of Animal Health in the 12 communes of Central Department, trained 113 veterinary workers and equipped the 12 communes of solar units for storing vaccines, 156.814 cows and oxen will be identified in the Central Plateau, from 20 October 2014. The campaign led by the Veterinary Doctor Fritzner Marcadieu will last about two months.
