Organized over a one-month period, the Taiwan Global Pathfinders Initiative aims to enable participants to deepen their knowledge across various fields, while fostering the exchange of experiences and strengthening ties between Taiwan and its diplomatic partners. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-48663-haiti-news-zapping.html

For the 2026 edition, Haiti was represented by three young diplomats : Juleviève Lineza Julsaint and Nicholas Anthony Karren Octavius, who focused on the track dedicated to sustainable tourism, and Harley Tuchman Hector, who participated in activities centered on cooperation in the fields of new energy and carbon credits.

Through various sessions, these young diplomats had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with different approaches and initiatives within these forward-looking sectors.

The program’s closing ceremony and certificate presentation were attended by Minister-Counselor Ricardin Saint-Jean, who represented the Ambassador of Haiti.

As the two Nations celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations this year, this initiative provided these young professionals with valuable opportunities for learning, discovery, and the sharing of experiences. Among other benefits, it has contributed to the development of a high-caliber new generation of diplomats—one prepared to address contemporary challenges and apply their skills toward Haiti’s development and the advancement of its diplomatic reach.
