Zombie checks
Tuesday, 6 teachers hostile to Frantz Batista, the Director of the Lycée Faustin Soulouque of Petit-Goâve,proceeded with the closure of the Directorate of the Lycée and launched a protest movement in order to obtain the departure of Director Batista, that they accuse of receiving and benefit from "zombie checks". Professor Cadet Arnald at the head of this movement, said he no longer recognizes the authority of the Director in office for more than 10 years administering badly the school. New appointments in Public Administration
The government made 3 new appointments in the public administration. Charles Jean Jacques, former Minister of Social Affairs was appointed National Authorising Officer; Clovis Noel appointed to the Directorate General of Customs and Rodiny Jean Baptiste became the new Director of the Fight against Corruption Unit (ULCC) to replace the former Colonel Antoine Atouriste.
