iciHaiti - Culture : Official launch of the European Programme for Culture

Wednesday at the Hotel Montana was launched the European Programme for Culture (PEC) in the presence among other of Ms Dithny Joan Raton, the Minister of Culture, the Ambassador of the European Union in Haiti, Javier Niño Perez, of Ms. Morena Zuchelli, Representative of "Cooperazione Internazionale" (COOPI), of the President of CHAPPE Ms. Maguy Durcé, of the executive Director of the VDH, Arnoux Descardes, nder the leadership of the Foundation AfricAméricA (AAA) represented by its Director, Ms Christine Stephenson.
The PEC has the specific objective of strengthening the operational capacities of cultural organizations and of culture professionals distributed in the 10 departments and based in 14 secondary cities through the creation of a fund to support the production/distribution, academic and technical training and the development of international markets with a public/private partnership.
