iciHaiti - Social : The 300 students of the School St-Yves of Gâchette now have access to potable water

The new water purification system to facilitate the supply of drinking water, installed in the commune of Limonade, has been inaugurated. Funded to the tune of 24,400 US dollars by the North Regional Office of Civil Affairs of the Minustah, the system includes the construction of a concrete platform over a well 120 feet deep and the installation of an electric pump and a water filtration equipment. Work was executed by St. Luke Foundation.
Thanks to this installation, the 300 students of the St-Yves of Gâchette now have direct access to potable water and10,000 residents of the community of Limonade, are better protected against waterborne diseases.
