iciHaiti - Montreal : Small success of the solidarity march for Haitian 03/08/2015 09:47:19
Sunday afternoon, the march organized at the initiative of Montrealers of Haitian origin and friends of Haiti, intended to express their solidarity with the Haitians who are expelled from all over the world, had few participants. A little over a hundred walkers have expressed their indignation, calling for the extension of the moratorium for Haitian repatriation in Canada threatened of repatriation in Haiti and to the respect of the dignity of their brothers and sisters.
Organizers affirm that the Haitians have become unwanted and undergo contempt in many countries, including the Bahamas, Canada, the Turk and Caicos Islands, Dominican Republic, Peru etc... that do not hesitate to expel them, while the Haitian Diaspora actively participates in the development of most of these countries for decades.
