iciHaiti : The US government honors the DINEPA

This Tuesday at the US Embassy, will take place early in the afternoon, a ceremony to honor the National Directorate of Water Supply and Sanitation (DINEPA), for its efforts and success in the field of drinking water and sanitation.
Despite major obstacles, DINEPA has achieved substantial progress in the coordination of drinking water and sanitation activities including the establishment of regional offices in 4 major regions, the creation of 10 rural departmental units and the implementation of a training program for technicians in water and sanitation system. In 2008, only 52% of Haitians had access to clean water. In 2014, through the leadership of DINEPA, this figure rose to 62%.
