iciHaiti - Health : A scourge threatens Haitian youth 02/11/2015 09:45:22
The two men discussed the launch of a campaign against the use of drugs and alcohol and their prevalence among young people, particularly among girls aged 14 in the West, Northeast and Nippes departments. At this meeting, the Coordinator of the CONALD referred to the need to define with the ministry, youth outreach strategies, about the evils of consumption of these products and to reflect on alternatives to offer to the youth during year. Pleased to welcome this initiative, the Minister Albert said that "it is necessary to launch a cry of alarm against the danger posed by this scourge to the youth of our country," stressing "we can not talk of succession without frame and protect our youth against drugs and alcohol." The Minister Albert and Martino Guerrier, agreed to continue to reflect on the organization of an event-symbol that will mobilize various sectors and youth organizations, to provide a response to this alarming situation.
