iciHaiti - Politic : Towards multi-service centers in the communal sections

As part of its new fiscal year 2015-2016, the Government has planned a installation program of multi-service centers (administrative and cultural) in the communal sections, a program with a budget of 1.1 billion gourdes. 10 communal sections are targeted in the fiscal year 2015-2016.

Each multi-service center will be powered by solar energy and will have a drinking water supply system. and will include:

A computer lab;
A media room for distance learning;
A theater room;
A clinic;
Of basics administrative services (civil status, police and security, etc.);
A vocational school (culinary arts, agricultural techniques, cutting and sewing);
A hostel to accommodate visitors in transit;

In addition to the resources of the public treasury a special fund called "inter-Haitian Solidarity Fund" will be created and fed by revenues raised through a telethon to be held each year.
