iciHaiti - Economy : The «Days of the Haitian Entrepreneur»

As part of its national strategy to support the creation and development of enterprises, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) organizes, in partnership with the Group Croissance, the "Days of the Haitian Entrepreneur", two days of information on the various programs available to entrepreneurs, to Franck room of the Hotel Montana, Wednesday 20 and Thursday, January 21, 2016.

During this event, representatives of a hundred companies operating mainly in the sectors considered as priorities for the development of the national economy are expected.

This Wednesday will be an opportunity for the MCI to present the objectives, content, the integration process of its programs, including:

of Support Program to Micro Enterprises (SMEs),
of the business Accelerator,
of the Program of Support Services for Enterprise and Training (SAEF),
of the Micro Industrial Parks Program,
of ongoing actions in standardization, normalization and quality control of products.

The second day will be devoted to a workshop facilitated by the Group croissance on value chains in agriculture and textiles.

Recall that all business support programs, reflects a growing and multifaceted effort made by the Ministry of Trade and Industry to better fulfill the missions that consist essentially to promote and facilitate the development of the industry at national level, to catalyze the growth of high potential sectors like Agro-industry, manufacturing, biotechnology, mechanics and tourism, and support entrepreneurs with a view of an improvement in productivity and competitiveness of their businesses.
