iciHaiti - Traffic NOTICE : Sirens, strobes and tinted windows...

In a note, the General Secretariat of the Presidency, reminds all users of public roads in general and members of the Government in particular, that the use of sirens and strobes is reserved exclusively for ambulances, the police of Haiti and officials of the State.

"However it is asked to holders of vehicles registered 'Official or State Service (SE)' to please refrain from abusing this privilege to the detriment of public serenity, of traffic rules and fairness to all users of the public road.

Similarly, the use of tinted glass does not exclude the control of agents of the National Police of Haiti. It is asked to drivers of these vehicles to submit willingly to the checks of PNH officers."
