Elisabeth Beton Delègue, Ambassador of France accredited to Haiti this week conducted a visit to the Terminal Varreux where the Bolloré Group plans to invest $40 million in the first phase of a major project port.

Two years later, in November 2014, the Prime Minister of the time Laurent Lamothe met a member of the Executive of the French Bolloré Group which had announced an investment of 40 million US dollars in Haiti, in port facilities of Varreux terminal

In this development project of port facilities, more than 100 jobs will be created, the cost of transportation of imported goods will be reduced, with as direct impact, a reduction in the cost of living.
