iciHaiti - FLASH : Ransacking and vandalism at the Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) deplores and strongly condemns the aggression of student interns who ransacked Monday, the reception of the General Directorate of the Ministry and vandalized the workspace traumatizing several employees by their violent assault.
The Ministry considers unacceptable the attitude of the student interns, who use violence and the breakdown of public goods as a means of claims. The Ministry points out that these students demanding their letter of appointment and payment of six months of work, are in fact at their 2nd month of the internship (6 months) and have already received financial support to start their training in accordance with the MoU signed with the École Normale Supérieure. MENFP appeals for calm to those protesters and invited them to meet their commitments under this agreement and their contract of employment.
