iciHaiti - Venezuela : Bicentenary of the military operation Los Cayos

Thursday, Delcy Rodríguez Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, celebrated the bicentenary of the military expedition of Los Cayos, organized since Haiti by Simon Bolivar, who sent troops to release of the Spanish forces: Venezuela, then Panama, Colombia and Ecuador.
The Chancellor declared "Haiti unconditionally supports the Bolivarian cause, so from Venezuela we honor the noble and revolutionary character of its people," noting that "this emancipatory gesture, led by Simon Bolivar and thanks to Pétion, was crucial for the consolidation of our independence," ecalling that the people of Venezuela and Haiti will remain paired through this heroic history that helps strengthen the Great Fatherland.
