"The Directorate General of the Maritime Service and Navigation of Haiti (SEMANAH) invites shipowners and ship captains to renew the certificates of their vessel(s).
It also urges all those whose ship has not yet had the first registration to contact the nearest SEMANAH office for the formalities of uses.
Instructions were passed to ship inspectors and responsible of Territorial Representations to take all necessary steps for the regularization of the situation of the vessels concerned.
A period of 30 days [until September 18] is granted to the persons concerned to become in good standing with the Maritime Service."
