iciHaiti - Environment : Cleaning Operation in Port-au-Prince

While Port-au-Prince disappears a little more under waste and nothing seems to stop the rise of garbage in the capital since the Metropolitan Service of Collection of Solid Waste (SMCRS) stopped its waste collection operations for several weeks; Cadet Rigaud, the Coordinator of the company "Haiti Clean System," announces a garbage collection day in several streets and neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince (among others : Street Capois, Martin Luther King, Turgeau and Bois Verna) that Sunday, September 25.

This cleaning operation is part of a partnership between "Haiti Clean System" and the Mayor of Port-au-Prince.

Recall that the company "Haiti Clean system" worked for over two years in the garbage for institutional clients and residential. The price varies from 100 to 250 gourdes per month (depending on the neighborhood). The company provides the bin and collects the waste 2 times a week.
