The RFI Discoveries Award listening Committee selected the 10 finalists of the 2016 edition. They will be submitted from November 4 to the vote of jury chaired this year by the famous French rapper Kery James. List of Finalists : The group As Gang (Ivory Coast) ; The singer Pamela Badjogo (Gabon/Mali) ; The author, composer and performer Atis Constant (Haiti) ; The singer Daba (Senegal) ; The singer Kandia Kora (Guinea) ; The singer Minah (Madagascar) ; The singer Angel Mutoni (Rwanda) ; The singer Soul Bang's (Guinea) ; The singer Stella Afro (Madagascar) The singer The Ben (Uganda). He dedicated himself to music at the age of 13 by joining a youth group "The Three J's". In 2010, 2011 and 2014, he participated in the Digicel Stars singing contest in Haiti : he will finish in 8th position in 2010 and 4th in 2011 and 2014. That year, he released "Mizik se medikaman'm" (the music is my drug) in collaboration with P-Jay, the Haitian rapper. In 2015 Atis Constant published in digital format his first album "Mizik se medikaman'm" includes 12 songs. IH/ iciHaiti
