Since 1981, The RFI Discoveries Award, highlights new musical talent of the African continent. Over the years, this Award has helped launch many artists who have since reached an international audience.

The RFI Discoveries Award listening Committee selected the 10 finalists of the 2016 edition. They will be submitted from November 4 to the vote of jury chaired this year by the famous French rapper Kery James.

Learn more about Atis Constant :

Atis Constant is a Haitian author, composer and performer. He dedicated himself to music at the age of 13 by joining a youth group "The Three J's".

In 2010, 2011 and 2014, he participated in the Digicel Stars singing contest in Haiti : he will finish in 8th position in 2010 and 4th in 2011 and 2014. That year, he released "Mizik se medikaman'm" (the music is my drug) in collaboration with P-Jay, the Haitian rapper.

In 2015 Atis Constant published in digital format his first album "Mizik se medikaman'm" includes 12 songs.
