iciHaiti - Humanitarian : Arrival of the aid from Venezuela and Colombia

Tuesday, President de facto Jocelerme Privert, accompanied by the Foreign Minister, Pierrot Délienne, went to the port of Port-au-Prince, for the arrival of two boats from respectively Venezuela and Colombia carrying humanitarian aid, heavy equipment and materials for reconstruction.

Venezuelan ship carries not only emergency aid (food, water, mattresses, etc...) but also technical equipment and qualified staff, who will work with Haitians for efficient use of equipment. The Colombian ship also equipped with a helicopter will remain in Haiti for one month to facilitate the transportation of equipment and others goods to remote areas.
