iciHaiti - CFU Tournament, U20 : The Grenadiers ready to face St. Lucia

Curacao organizes from 21 to 30 October the final tournament of the Caribbean Football Union, commonly known by the acronym (CFU), where two groups of four Selections will compete to try to qualify for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship men, the last step of qualifications (which will be played in Costa Rica from 17 February to 6 March 2017) for the World Cup in South Korea in 2017.

Group A :

St Kitts & Nevis, Bermuda, Antigua and Barbuda, Curacao

Group B :

Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba, St. Lucia

South Korea had already smiled to Haiti in 2007 with the U-17 of late Yves Philogene Labase, why not with the U-20 of Wilfrid Montillas and Kowsky Sainvil then four expatriates came to reinforce the group of our Grenadiers : Chevreuil Brian, middle defensive of the Berrichone Chateauroux/ France, Joseph Stanley, defender to Dakota University/ USA, Springers Richelor, forward to NAC Breda/ Holland and Sanon Jimmy Shammar, attacking midfielder of Montreal FC/ Canada.

Our Grenadier U-20 arrived Thursday in Curacao where they will play their first group match Saturday, October 22 against St. Lucia, an introduction which should be less hard than the two other opponents that await them on 24 (Cuba) and 26 (Trinidad and Tobago).
