The Communication Office of the Primature inform the general public that the Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles, learned with great sadness the death of Mrs. Madeleine Des Pradines Martelly, the mother of former President of the Republic, Michel Joseph Martelly, occurred on the night of Friday 21 to Saturday, October 22, 2016, after a long period of illness courageously supported.

Mrs. Martelly leaves, for her grieving family and loved ones afflicted by her departure, the memory of a caring woman, smiling and full of tenderness.

In these painful circumstances and in these moments of deep sadness, the Prime Minister present, on behalf of the Government of the Republic, and in his own name, his most heartfelt condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased and, particularly, his sympathies words to Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly.
