iciHaiti - Politic : Privert met the National Federation of CASECs

Friday at the National Palace, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert, met with members of the National Federation of CASECs of Haiti (FENACAH) about Government action in communal sections affected by Hurricane Matthew.

The Head of State presented them the overall situation of the country and the actions already undertaken by the Government, including the support for affected families, the management and delivery of aid in the most inaccessible areas, the rehabilitation of schools, roads as well as measures to be taken for the resumption of normal activities in communes and communal sections affected.

Members of the FENACAH, while thanking President Privert for the initiative, presented to the Head of State their concerns and their vision of the recovery period. According to them, the emergency is still maintained at the level of the rehabilitation of houses and the assistance in food to bring to affected families.

Jocelerme Privert has promised his support to all approaches of the FENACAH, that can support the actions of the Government in the recovery process.
