Monday, the Dominican National Police confirmed that the dead body of a Haitian worker, Solón Fideme (32 years old), was found dead on Dominican territory, in the border area between Haiti and the Dominican Republic in the area of Rosa La Piedra, section El Valle, of the municipal district of Guanito, to Elías Piña.

According to the coroner's report, the victim died from a gunshot wound in the back.

The body of the worker was handed over to his family in Haiti by order of the prosecutor, Dr. Lebron Mercedes Ramirez, who directs the investigation on this murder.
