Haiti - Passing : The Ministry of Education salutes the memory of Professor Paquiot

The Ministry learned with dismay the sad news of the passing of Professor Pierre Marie Paquiot on Wednesday 23 November in Cuba.

The Department salutes the memory of this emeritus professor who has trained several generations of students during his 41-year career in teaching. Honored in May 2016 by the Ministry during the tribute ceremony to eachers and personalities that have marked the world of education, Professor Paquiot has always been available to offer his collaboration in the framework of the reforms underway in the education system, notably in the setting up of the renovated Secondary.

The Ministry bows to the disappearance of this teacher who has devoted a good part of his life to the service of the country and offers its sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and all his students affected by this death.
