iciHaiti - Social : 214th anniversary of the death of Toussaint Louverture

This Friday, April 7 marks the 214th anniversary of the death of the Precursor of Independence of Haiti, Toussaint Louverture who in the 18th century showed our ancestors the path of freedom.
Testifying their recognition towards Toussaint Louverture, the representatives of the Bureau of African Youth in Haiti, represented by young Haitians, are convinced that the commemoration of the 214th anniversary of the death of Toussaint Louverture must challenge each Haitian on the notions of solidarity and unity and also continue the struggle to safeguard our sovereignty.
Thus, the Bureau of African Youth in Haiti, calls on Haitian youth to remember its glorious past in order to learn lessons of civic engagement, patriotism, courage and pride in order to take Haiti out of its chaotic situation.
