iciHaiti - Agriculture : Works tour of Moïse, in the Artibonite

Friday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Senator Youri Latortue and Deputy Cholzer Chancy respectively President and Vice-President of the National Assembly, visited several localities of the Artibonite as part of his evaluation tour of the cleaning works launched in the communes of this department. More than 30 kilometers of irrigation canals have already been cured and the rehabilitation of several agricultural tracks is underway.
"The problems of infrastructure related to agriculture, the irrigation constraints of our production areas and the difficulties of access to agricultural roads are, among other things, precise points that my administration intends to address through this Caravan that will spread throughout the national territory," said the Head of State.
President Moïse reiterated his determination to make his quinquennium that of agricultural renewal recalling that he set himself the objective of developing more than 50,000 hectares of land.
