iciHaiti - Politics : Towards the reform of the State Media

Wednesday at the National Palace, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant in the presence of the Directors General : Gamall Augustin (National Television of Haiti - TNH) and Marc Exavier (National Radio of Haiti - RNH), proceeded to the installation of the National Council for the Coordination of State Media and Public Service. This Council, created by presidential decree dated April 6, 2017, is composed of 3 personalities: Jean Willem Roméus (Coordinator); Ms Marie Marthe Martine Denis and Serge Philippe Pierre, members.
During their 36-month mandate, they will have to work on a mission aimed at the efficiency, restructuring and modernization of State media and work to improve the quality and diversity of the programming of these media.
