The Senator of the Province of Elías Piña, Adriano Sanchez Roa, denounces the results of investigations which reveal that nearly 4,000 Haitians without a document in good standing, work illegally in security agencies on the Dominican territory and carry weapons. Which for him is a danger to the country.

Judging that the Ministry of Defense has control of the border with Haiti, he says that the problem is not the entry but the large number of Haitian nationals already irregular on Dominican territory. He calls for their evictions including all illegal Haitians who work in security agencies and sanctions against these employers.
