Initiated last August by President Moïse https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-21911-icihaiti-politics-president-jovenel-moise-visits-the-construction-of-the-asphalt-plant-at-acul.html an asphalt plant has just been put into operation at the Acul de Gros-Morne. This plant will support the construction of road infrastructures in the Great North, notably the "Kafou Jòf / Anse-à-Foleur" road section, which represents a real ordeal for the inhabitants of the North-West and the Artibonite.

According to the Government, "the establishment of this plant is a tangible proof of the Head of State's determination to ensure the rational management of State resources to promote development in Haiti to boost the economy and to offer better living conditions to the isolated and needy populations."
