As part of the fight against cholera, Japan decided Monday to make a financial contribution of 110 million yen (± 1.01 million dollars) to the multi-partner fund for the fight against cholera in Haiti (UN Haiti Cholera Response MPTF) established by the UN on 2016 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18970-haiti-health-un-creates-a-fund-to-fight-against-cholera-in-haiti.html , in order to to support the various commitments made in Haiti towards the elimination of this disease.

Thanks to this contribution, it is planned to prevent the spread of cholera and reduce the number of people infected in Haiti.
