Colombe Émilie Jessy Menos, Minister of Tourism heading a Haitian delegation composed of representatives of the Office of the Presidency, the Center for Investment Facilitation (CFI) and members of the private tourism sector to report on the public-private partnership currently participates at the annual Caribbean Hotel Resort and Investment Summit (CHRIS) held in Miami, Florida May 16-18.

"Through this participation, the Haitian delegation promotes the Haitian destination by showing investors present the multiple opportunities that exist in the country and in the tourism sector." This is what recent statistics show, and this is the credo of the government and of the Minister of Tourism, Madame Colombe Émilie Jessy Menos.

In an intervention, Minister Menos presented the multiple opportunities that exist in Haiti and in the tourism sector and the incentives offered by the Haitian Government to investors in this sector in particular. In particular, she presented the recent progress in terms of the development of basic tourism infrastructure in the country and the work done by the government for this sector.

The Minister believes that this Summit augurs new prospects for investment in the North, West and South of Haiti.

The Caribbean Hotel Resort and Investment Summit is an annual platform that brings together renowned Caribbean and US investors to promote tourism real estate investment.
