For the occasion Dany, the author of "Je suis un écrivain japonais" who writes as he lives, will offer a great open-heart conference. This unique event will also highlight his complete work through an exhibition of his 30 books, various films adapted from his novels and some surprises. Dany Laferrière will then sign his 30th book "Autoportrait de Paris, avec Chat" (published by Le Boréal), a 320-page book and all his other books. "Autoportrait de Paris, avec Chat", entirely hand-drawn, critically acclaimed and described as a masterpiece, is considered by the press as the craziest and freest book of recent decades. An rendezvous not to be missed with Dany at the Grande Bibliothèque de Montréal located at 475, boul. de Maisonneuve East, Friday, July 27 from 18:00 where will be on sale all his books.
