iciHaiti - DR : The truck loaded with plastic waste has been returned to Haiti

The truck platform, loaded with waste plastic bottles from Haiti who tried to enter last Saturday by Jimani on the Dominican territory without having the necessary authorizations and documents https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24465-haiti-dr-a-truck-of-plastic-waste-from-haiti-blocked-at-the-border.html was forced to return to Haiti by order of the Dominican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
The Ministry affirms in its decision, to have complied with the law 64-00 which prohibits the importation of waste on the national territory to avoid that toxic substances affect the health of the people or the ecosystems.
