Saturday, Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education, was the guest of honor at the opening ceremony of ExpoSciences 2018 at the Collège Catts Pressoir (81 Martin Luther King Avenue) and of International Symposium.

Through the projects developed by the students of the College, the Minister Cadet said to detect the expression of "a beautiful intelligence and a young but vivacious know-how". He expressed the wish that the activities organized by the College Catts Pressoir be taken over by other schools in order to bring young people to develop their creativity while seeking innovative solutions to the problems of society.

Guy Etienne, the Director of the College Catts Pressoir spoke about the many projects and activities developed by the students of the College emphasizing that the students are interested among other things in robotics, the protection of the environment, aquaponics (mixed culture plant and fish), urban planning, public transportation ...

Monday at the Hotel Montana from 8:00 am at the International Symposium, Haitian and foreign personalities will speak at conferences and workshops on: The Haitian economy in transformation (opening conference 9:00); entrepreneurship education; issues and challenges (Panel 1, 9:45); digital and training requirements (Panel 2, 11:15); strengthening youth empowerment for sustainable development (Panel 3, 1:30 pm) and guidance of education systems for career choices (Panel 4, 2:45 pm).
