Following the travel of President Moïse at the head of a large delegation to Taiwan (Republic of China) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24497-haiti-politic-overview-of-the-agenda-of-president-moise-in-taiwan-update.html without explaining this 7-day trip, the economist Camille Charlmers denounces the opacity of the foreign policy of the Head of State.
Charlmers can not explain what motivates the government to consolidate its relations with Taiwan, while China (Beijing) with outsized means, is able to offer infinitely more than what Moïse went to get or get from Taipei.
He wonders if Jovenel Moise does not favor the Taiwanese checkbook that does not pose many demands, to the direct investments of Mainland China which does not tolerate any misappropriation of funds...
