The past week in the commune of Trou-du-Nord (North-East), the Ministry of Agriculture with "Asosyasyon Renesans Ayiti", and AVHEC launched a livestock competition for the first time in Haiti.

The aim is to help breeders to gain confidence in the work they do, to supervise them and to give livestock more value.

Carmélie Montuma Ismael coordinator of "Renesans Ayiti" has made several meetings with the members of the committee that organize this competition, such as Horiol Destil Destiné and the agronomist Roger Rosen Jasmin.

To make this event a success, many meetings have been held in several areas to motivate people to participate and make them know the idea behind this competition.
