Almost 7 days after the events, not communicated before to the press, the Steering Committee and the Technical Secretariat of the Sectoral General States of the Nation learned with amazement and consternation the tragic death of a member of the Technical Secretariat, Mrs. Natacha Castelly , killed of "several bullets", to Bois-Moquette, in the afternoon of Tuesday, June 19, 2018 and show their sympathies to the bereaved family.

The Committee strongly hopes that all the light will be shed by the competent authorities on the circumstances of this tragedy.

Nancy Barbara Alexis, the spokesperson of the West Departmental Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), confirms the assassination of Natacha Castelli (40 years), by his companion Steven Junior Périn who committed suicide after his crime, stating that the investigation of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) explores primarily the track of a crime of passion and the suicide of Junior Steven Perrin.
