iciHaiti - USA : Donation of materials to the Directorate of Civil Protection

Tuesday at the National Emergency Operations Center (COUN), Robin D. Diallo, Chargée d'Affaires ai of the United States Embassy in Haiti presented to Jerry Chandler Director of Civil Protection (DPC) a batch of rolling stock and equipment donated by the US Embassy, including an M10A forklift truck, a 400 gallon water trailer and three Pickup vehicles.
"We appreciate this donation that represents a gesture of solidarity of the American people in Haiti [...] This support will certainly contribute to the improvement of the quality of the response of the Civil Protection, to natural disasters," said Dr. Jerry Chandler taking possession of the equipment at the COUN, in the presence of Fednel Monchery the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities.
