iciHaiti - Culture : 3rd Edition of the Theater Festival by reading 29/06/2018 08:12:11
Admission to these activities is free, subject to availability. The idea of organizing, in Haiti, a themed theater festival whose mission is to promote contemporary dramaturgy in the public space has filled the ignorance of the dramatic works of contemporary authors. This problem is due to the lack of representation, promotional activity and also the inaccessibility (absence in bookstores and library) of some of these works. For this 3rd edition the Festival is offering, for the first time, to the Haitian public to discover the theatrical world of the French author of Haitian origin Jean-René Lemoine. The author Jean-René Lemoine revisits the major themes of literature that are love, death, anxiety, loneliness. This tour is guided by a sedentary intranquility, taking a mixed look at where cultures crumble for an improbable supremacy. What results is the loneliness, the errors and the segregation of disarticulated beings at a time when the cultures mingle to better dissociate. It is this mapping of the contemporary tear that By Reading Lemoine invites the Haitian viewer to explore and situate the hybrid being that has become all exiled. IH/ iciHaiti
