iciHaiti - Artibonite : Towards the construction of the community school Le Palmier in Mirault

The Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA) recently joined the Community Self-Empowerment Center-Incorporated (COSEC-INC) in a fundraising evening at the First Interdenominational Haitian Church in Miami, in view of the construction of the community school Le Palmier in Mirault, an agglomeration of the 3rd rural section of Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite.
Several artists have volunteered for this socio-cultural activity coordinated by Vernicia Almonor Charles and entitled "An unforgettable Gospel, Cultural and Artistic Event", including violinists Bianca Tavares, Priscilla Michelle, Gardine and Phekia Joseph, the Venezuelan harpist Heriberto Merchand; Opera singers Edony Pricivil and Ledna Honoré. The singers Rebecca Décoste Voltaire and Philippe Pierre have also evolved on the stage alongside musicians Onickel Augustin, Sylvain Hilaire, Lesly Jean-Philippe, Jean Edner, Adonis and Samuel Python, not to mention the young dancers of Destiny. Joël Lorquet played the role of master of ceremonies at this show and took the opportunity to interpret selections from his repertoire for the enjoyment of the audience.
