iciHaiti - DR : A 13-year-old pregnant girl and her Haitian partner killed in Neyba
On the night of Friday to Saturday a pregnant 13-year-old girl and her 24-year-old partner both of Haitian origin were murdered in the house where they resided in the El Aguacate section in the Panzo area, Neiba municipality (South East).

According to the residents of the area, this double murder was committed by the ex-partner of the teenager, also of Haitian nationality, known only under the name of "Tito" in the area and Selagué in Haiti, who could have acted with at least one accomplice. According to Bartolina Montero aka "Nona" the head of the community, "Tito" would have been seen the day before in the area not far from the house of the victims

According to the informations reported by Montero, the murderer reportedly entered the house at night, surprising the victims in their sleep. The teenager was strangled and her partner killed with knives.

On Saturday after being informed of the tragedy, the Mayor of Neyba, Eliferbo Herasme Diaz, provided the necessary support and authorized the delivery of two coffins to transfer the bodies of the two Haitians with dignity to the forensic institute in Azua, for autopsy for the purposes of the investigation.
