Moreover, the Minister informs that he ordered the reinforcement of surveillance at the border, mainly in the cities of Jimaní and Elías Piña (South-West), closer to the Haitian capital, recalling "The armed forces are still on alert against anyone who tries to cross the border and tomorrow (Monday) will be held the binational markets at the four traditional border points, in the cities of Elías Piña, Jimaní, Dajabón (Northeast) and Pedernales (Southwest) where Dominicans and Haitians exchange goods and products of all kinds every Monday and Friday.
